Very warm welcome and great attention to detail – the Christmas trees in the cottage were a particularly nice touch. The Ruin is unexpectedly spacious accommodation and beautifully converted to such a high standard. Everything you need to keep a young family fed, watered and happy for 2 weeks!

Last time we said “see you soon” we didn’t realise it would be seven short weeks until we visited you again. Once again another fantastic break in “our Sanctuary” with fantastic weather. Muirhall is one of Scotland’s best kept secrets nestled in the midst of Lanarkshire countryside. A great retreat away from the trappings of modern day life. Search high and low and 20 min from home there is the most beautiful retreat. Have spent a fantastic, relaxing week with my son, daughter in law and special grand daughter who had her birthday party at the “Ruin”. The location is ideal and the accommodation is unbelievable.

What an amazing place. It took quite a bit of time to find accommodation of this standard that accepts dogs. 1st class – cosy, comfortable and a perfect place to get away from it all! Gabi was an amazing host – thanks for the wine and choc’s for my birthday.4 days just didn’t seem long enough!

What can I say what a fab’  place to stay, the “Hayloft” is a stunning cottage with all the home comforts and very cosy.
