About Us

Chris and Gabi have lived at Muirhall for four years and have now fulfilled their ambition to transform the farm and outbuildings into luxury holiday accommodation whilst retaining the rural charm of the original farm.

Although no longer a working farm, Chris and Gabi still keep a small number of sheep, cows and horses as well as their own pets.

Gabi, originally from  Germany, is passionate about sharing the features of rural Scotland, and through her background in the hotel trade, is keen to encourage people to enjoy their holidays in Scotland with all it has to offer – friendly people, historic sites and many recreational opportunities.

Chris as a keen golf player would be happy to arrange a round of golf for you – whether it’s at the famous Gleneagles or St Andrews, or one of our smaller local golf courses.
Private car hire can be arranged for you during your visit, 'as can a helicopter flight to take you on an unforgetable trip, of your choice, in style.

Chris and Gabi have personally managed the renovation of the farm to realise their vision of luxury holiday accommodation that encompasses traditional elements such as oak beams, feature fireplaces and beautiful stonemasonry.

Throughout your stay you can be assured of Chris and Gabi’s personal attention and the services they offer include cleaning of your cottage, shopping, and arrangement of your chosen sporting and leisure activities. They will even arrange for a gourmet chef to cook for you: an opportunity to enjoy the best of Scottish food from the comfort of your holiday cottage.
